Victory Academy

Victory Academy was founded in 2013 to respond to the burden and passion of making a positive difference in lives, one child at a time. Using the world-renowned Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum, the school aspires to build LEADERS OF FAITH, KNOWLEDGE, and CHARACTER.

CURRICULUM INCORPORATES
This Curriculum Incorporates. Individualized learning, every child is able to learn at his own rate. Mastery Learning, Each child progresses only when he is academically prepared for the next step. Character building, 60 Character traits with definitions and scripture are used throughtout each level of the curriculum. Leadership training, Student Convention and Educators Conferences are held to present new ways to organize, develop, and motivate school staff and students. Diagnostic testing, A new student is given diagnostic tests to determine his educational performance level and identity and tackle learning gaps for holistic education.

Victory Academy is affiliated with the Southern Cross Educational Enterprises (SCEE) in Australia under Affiliation Agreement #ID8101322 as of January 2013 when the school was founded. SCEE is a non-profit charitable ministry, registered in Queensland and established for the purpose of promoting and facilitating Biblical education around the South Pacific region.

There are over 40 ACE schools in Indonesia and over 7000 around the world. The ACE schools in Indonesia are located in Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Salatiga, Jogja, Solo, Batam, Manado, and Bali among others.

Assessment is not based on age, but ability. Students who are accepted into theprogram will be placed on an academic level corresponding to their Diagnostic Test Results.

Enrollment for non-ACE transfer students is open for July to January intakes each year, into the ABC (Reading Readiness Program), Primary, and Junior Schools. Transfer students from another ACE school will be directly placed at their current PACE level.

The step-by-step enrollment procedure involves:
1. Parent & student interview
2. Diagnostic (Placement) & Psychology Test
3. Filling out of the Student Application Form
4. Payment of all financial obligations

If it applies, admission to the Dapodik (Victory PKBM) program is conditional upon submission of the most recent authorized report card (i.e. signed and stamped by the sending school).

Based on the understanding that Victory Academy is an educational institution which provides a US-based High School Diploma upon their students’ graduation, called the ACE Certificate, the Indonesian High School Diploma may, therefore, be obtained only through enrollment in Victory PKBM, alongside ACE studies.

Assigning the level

Closing the gaps at each level will result in conceptual mastery, comprehension, accuracy, and speed to go on to the next level without experiencing psychological strain

This will help students make decisions about the goals of each session and help them refine the daily tactics they use, while still paying attention to the completion of the material as a whole

Merits are used as positive motivation to accomplish goals and demonstrate Godly character traits

The pupil’s learning must be measured, which relates to accountability.

The pupil’s learning receives recognition and reward for its effort and significance.

Integration of Biblical Principle

A God-Centered, theistic philosophy is build into PACE, where principles of Godly character and illustration of desired character are sequenced. Refusing to acknowledge action, regardless of its legitimacy, but then looking for a problem or discomfort later. Tools: Scripture Truths and Memorization.

Godly character training, through the lives of the students who relate to the various characters and want to emulate their good character qualities. Tool: Character Strips

Mastery Based Learning, each student is required to master each fundamental tool before proceeding to new material. The student builds confidence as he gains a firm understanding of sequential foundation skills. A student’s academic problem usually : reading, mathematics, and then language. Solid foundations must be established. If the students builds a good base in reading, language, and mathematics skills, he can usually achieve independently in later years. Tool: PACEs

Built-In Reinforced System of Learning : The child is guided into right thinking including logic and biblical principles. Periodically throughout a Pace, Checkups are presented to recall what has just studied. A self test is presented, providing the student an opportunity what he has learned. Individualized Learning by taking PACEs at their own rate without being pressured to keep up with a group. Tool: PACEs
